Elections will be held at the Pre-LGPE Concert, February 10, 2026.

All roles are open for election. Individuals may only run for one role. If nominated for multiple roles, the nominee will be contacted to determine their preferred role. If you are nominating someone other than yourself, please let them know that you have nominated them for that role.

Co-Presidents

The Co-Presidents are the chief executive officers of the organization and are responsible for overseeing all booster activities, supporting the Band Director’s vision, and ensuring the success of the band program through leadership, fundraising, and volunteer coordination. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills to foster a positive and productive environment for students, parents, and community supporters.


Vice President - Concessions

The Vice President of Concessions plays a key role in fundraising and supporting the band program. Their primary responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of concession stand operations to ensure smooth, profitable, and efficient food and beverage sales at events.


Vice President - Sponsorships

The Vice President of Sponsorship plays a critical role in securing financial and in-kind support for the band program. This position focuses on building relationships with businesses, organizations, and community partners to generate sponsorship revenue and support for the band's needs.


Vice President - Fundraising

The Vice President of Fundraising is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing fundraising efforts to support the band's financial needs. This role ensures that the band program has the necessary funds for travel, equipment, uniforms, and other expenses.


Vice President - Events + Band Camp

The Vice President of Band Camp & Band Events is responsible for organizing and overseeing band camp logistics, band-focused events, and activities that enhance the band members' overall experience. This role ensures that students have a well-structured, enjoyable, and successful band camp and other social events throughout the year.


Treasurer - Accounts Receivable

The Treasurer-Accounts Receivable is responsible for managing incoming funds, tracking payments, and ensuring financial accountability for all money received by the booster club. This role is critical in maintaining accurate financial records, processing payments, and supporting the overall financial health of the band program.


Treasurer - Accounts Payable

The Treasurer-Accounts Payable is responsible for managing outgoing payments, ensuring timely disbursement of funds, and maintaining accurate financial records of all expenditures. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the financial integrity of the booster club by ensuring that all expenses are properly documented, approved, and paid on time.


Chief Operating Officer

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) plays a key leadership role in managing the day-to-day operations of the booster club. The COO ensures that logistical, financial, and volunteer-driven activities run smoothly to support the band program. Working closely with the Co-Presidents and other board members, the COO focuses on efficiency, organization, and execution of booster initiatives.


Secretary

The Secretary plays a crucial role in maintaining organization, communication, and record-keeping for the booster club. This position ensures that all meetings, correspondence, and documentation are well-organized and accessible to the board and membership.


Communications Officer

The Communications, Social Media, & Public Relations Officer is responsible for managing all communication efforts, promoting the band program, and engaging with parents, students, and the community. This role ensures timely, clear, and effective communication across multiple platforms to support booster club activities, fundraising, and student recognition.




Lanier Band Boosters - Appointed Board Positions


Guard Liaison (this is not an executive board member, but serves at the discretion of the LBBA)

The Color Guard & Winter Guard Liaison serves as the primary advocate and coordinator for the Color Guard (fall marching season) and Winter Guard (competitive indoor season). This role ensures that the unique needs of the Guard program are met while maintaining alignment with the overall band and booster club operations.


Lanier Cluster Liaison (this is not an executive board member, but serves at the discretion of the LBBA)

The Lanier Cluster Liaison serves as the primary connection between the high school band program and the middle school and elementary school band programs within the Lanier cluster. This role focuses on fostering relationships, coordinating recruitment efforts, and supporting the growth and continuity of the band program from middle to high school.


Game Day Football Liaison (this is not an executive board member, but serves at the discretion of the LBBA)

The Football & Game Day Liaison is responsible for coordinating all logistics, support, and operations related to marching band performances at football games. This role ensures that the band is well-prepared for home and away games, focusing on transportation, equipment, volunteer coordination, and student well-being.


Percussion Liaison (this is not an executive board member, but serves at the discretion of the LBBA)

The Indoor Percussion & Drumline Liaison serves as the primary advocate and coordinator for the Indoor Percussion (competitive winter season) and Drumline (fall marching season). This role ensures that the percussion program receives the necessary support for rehearsals, performances, competitions, and logistics while maintaining alignment with the overall band and booster club operations.
